Great app with many words. Good classifications. Interface good enough. Could have more sections or predefined phrases etc...

Very good App. Easy to use, complete. The aid of the verbs, helps a lot.

I have found this app to be a great improvement on Google Translate. The dictionary is completely in Italian so it is appropriate for intermediate students of the language. I was able to use it on an airplane so it appears to work without a wifi link. It also conjugates verbs.

Some bad moments

This application doesnt work. Im stuck with the left side of the page and cannot research words.

I found this dictionary to be bad value. The definitions are lacking nuance, and all too often the meanings I needed to find when reading either literature or political economy were missing -- even when my mid-sized (not full-sized) Zingarelli print volume had them. Note that this is all in Italian, so inappropriate for most travelers. It galls me to spend a higher price for the Zanichelli app, esp. when I own a hard copy, but I should have bitten the bullet and tried that first, instead of thinking I could cut corners on a portable all-Italian dictionary.

The previous version had problems and bugs but was serviceable -- the current version is useless, slow and crash-prone. Please fix presto!

Many improvements since I wrote the out-of-date review below, giving just one star. The search method has been fixed to be what you would expect. Much better! ----------------------------------------------------- Enter some letters and the result is a list of all Italian words containing that string. Useless. I put in "ma" to find that simple word but hundreds of results came up and it takes minutes to scroll down to "ma" in the list. I reinstalled to see if it wasnt some corruption of the app file, but no, its the design. Utterly stupid and useless.

An excellent tool also for English language students of Italian.

I use several Italian-dictionary apps. This one is the best in design and ease of use. Its also first-rate from the lexical point if view. Highly recommended.
